Our Process for Building Your Homes

Here at Vogue Homes, our team believes that education is critical. We take the time to explain key building elements to ensure the process is as simple and rewarding as possible. Every Vogue Home built is a combined effort from all departments, and most importantly, you!

Stage 1:
Finding Your New Home

Visit one of our display homes to explore our designs and inclusions, and speak with our friendly team about your new build, custom home, or knockdown rebuild. Your sales consultant will review your land details, assess council requirements, and provide a free price estimate based on your site information.

Stage 2:
Design and Planning

This is where your new home journey truly begins. We’ll formalise your plans and tender, outlining key features and inclusions. Your Vogue consultant will meet with you to review and sign off on final drawings and contracts. During this stage, we’ll arrange essential site assessments, surveys, and soil tests to ensure accurate pricing and smooth approvals. You’ll also have the chance to personalise your design before construction begins.

Stage 3:
Pre-Build Selections & and Approvals

During this stage, you’ll meet with our interior designer to personalise your home using our wide range of inclusions and finishes. Meanwhile, our team manages the approval process, from council or private certifier approvals to engineering and waterboard requirements. Once approved, we’ll provide all the documents you need for your lender and prepare to move into construction.

Stage 4:
Construction

Your construction journey begins with a dedicated supervisor who ensures your home is built to the highest standards and on schedule. You’ll receive regular progress updates and can join supervised site visits during key milestones. All work is completed by trusted trades we’ve partnered with for over seven years.

Stage 5:
Completion, Handover and Maintenance

Welcome to your new Vogue Home! Upon handover, you’ll receive all key warranties and compliance documents. Our support continues through your maintenance period, ensuring we’re here to help with any concerns after you move in.

What happens during the first consultation?

Your journey begins with a friendly chat with our Sales Consultant. We’ll help you choose a design that suits your block, budget and lifestyle — and provide an initial price estimate at no cost.

When do I finalise my plans and pricing?

After your design is chosen, we’ll prepare your Tender and detailed plans. You’ll review and approve everything before we move forward to the contract stage, ensuring transparency from the start.

What approvals are needed before construction starts?

Our pre-construction team takes care of all the essentials — including surveys, soil tests, engineering reports and council approvals — so your build is ready to start without delay.

Can I make design changes once construction begins?

Minor changes can be discussed with your Site Supervisor, though major modifications are best finalised before construction starts to keep your project on time and on budget.

What happens at handover?

Before you receive the keys, we conduct a thorough quality inspection and a walkthrough of your new home. We’ll also explain your maintenance period and warranty coverage for peace of mind.
